Lake Species:

#1 (By far) Bluegill
#2 Common Carp
#3 Channel Catfish
#4 Crappie
#5 Bass
#6 Goldfish, Koi
#7 Bullhead
#8 Grass Carp

Recommended Bait:

spikes, red worm, corn, night crawler pieces, wax worm (in that order)

Recommended Lure:
Spinner, Rapala, twister Jig, plastic worm

Lake Depth- 2.5 feet on edges in deep side- 1 foot deep on shallow side
Center of lake 6.5 - 8 feet. Average depth 5 feet of water can be reached 30 feet off shore from most any spot!

Tips for lake: water temperatures are chilly- best to work smaller bait, baits with smaller hooks and light line. Fish will not be super active yet, even though the lake is fed by two creeks. The bluegills can be your friend if you catch a lot of them. If you use larger baits, you can prevent gills from stripping your bait for catfish/carp. 2 corns, larger crawler or meat chunk might be in order for cats.. Some fish will be found only 5 feet away from you in decent quantity- don't be surprised if you get a larger fish not to far out! The shallows near you will warm faster than the deeper water in the afternoon.
