What is "venue results"? -
In matchfishing or bank angling, there are several ways to measure your success. For one, a bank angler can only do as well as the space in front of them. Beating an angler on another part of a lake or river is not always an option. The match angler (bank angling) can measure one's self by looking at the weights nearest to that angler. In competitions like this, fishing a harder section of a venue, means working harder. It is rewarding to fish tough events and do well in tough waters, conditions. Here are seven ways you can measure yourself and your fishing growth:
1. Minimize mistakes, prevent lost fish, no tangles, good feeding
2. Good Weight
3. Several Different Species
4. Personal Best on that Venue
5. Best the two anglers next to you
6. Win the section (your part of the venue)
7. Win Overall
As you improve your match angling, you will start to move up this success chart and experience some of the later numbers.
