Midwest Angler will feature a schedule that best benefits local anglers in the Chicago & Northern Indiana region. If you are new to fishing or are just getting into club fishing, the schedule is especially suited for you. The events published in our Google Calendar are there because:

Chicago Derby Fishing Contest

This schedule will be updated LIVE so that all parts of the calendar are easy to understand and so the latest venue information is available to you. The Calendar also features a subscription feature so that you can join the calendar and get updates emailed to you! An example of an update would be if a fishing lake has troubles with weeds, water or fishing quality- we would change the location (and you would be notified).
For severe weather, we may need to make an update the night before an event & send out email to everyone regarding the change (safer venue, venue that handles high water, cold front (deeper water venue)...

Get the latest on all area fishing events including local Chicago derbys, Chicagoland kid's fishing events, JJCA & Midwest Anglers Club Events on our live Google Calendar. if you need to know what is going on in Fishing around Chicago- this is the complete calendar for Bank Angling. We will be integrating this information in the web page so that you can click directly on a list of fishing events. For now, use this calendar as your live feed for all fishing in the Chicago region. We will list fishing derbys, chicago fishing competitions, chicago fishing club events and competitions on Google.

We have fishing club events in cities such as:
Batavia, Addison, Schaumburg, Bloomingdale, Downers Grove, Palatine,Prospect Heights, Chicago and other Chicago suburbs. We fish from shore at regular waters in the Forest Preserves & Park Districts around the Chicago area.

Our group also goes to Indiana to fish with a partner club Indiana Bank Anglers as well as our partner club out of Joliet, Joliet Jr. College Anglers.
