Where do
the dues go?
Over the past 3 years, the club has been working on
promoting itself. 100% of the money was spent on promotions
and club materials.
#1 Cost-Medals for events
#2 Cost- Prizes Events (Last year we gave away more
$$ than came in $200 at championships alone in cash
prizes)
#3 Cost- post cards for promotion and flyers for events.
#4 Cost- We also purchased a high-quality scale (best
in the Midwest for all clubs!) that cost $300.
We continue to spend 100% of club
dues on the membership.
Any and all sponsor prizes are handed
out to the membership at events such as T-shirts, lures,
gift certificates along with event awards.
In general terms - your dues go
to fueling angler education and building fishing in
the Midwest and nationally. Our mission is to build
up regular anglers and improve the sport of fishing
within 5 miles of your home.
The fishing is spectacular- World
Class in that anglers travel all the way from Europe
to fish places like Chicago's public lakes! If you haven't
been catching fish- we are going to fix that. Sign up

Can I buy
a membership for a friend who fishes?
Absolutely! We can send you a club membership certificate
with the purchase of a membership or magazine subscription
to give as a gift with the paid membership.

What can
I expect for my membership?
Expect to catch more fish. Our club is a teaching
club and every single member has caught more fish than they ever have by learning with us. We take pride in doubling, tripling, quadrupling your catch. In some cases the improvement is 1,000 to 2,000 times greater for anglers who adapt techniques taught in our seminars & at event demos.
Club membership also includes entrance to all monthly Club Seminars! For the '06 season, our sponsor Dick's Sporting Goods of Schaumburg will be the site of our monthly seminar.
No special skills needed,
in fact the newer you are, the more you will learn.
You can quickly be catching more fish locally than many
in just a few seminars/outings! We feature US-Style
bank fishing techniques that work around the Midwest
from boat (or shore!)
Along with competitions and outings we run, we
also run seminars and bank-side demos to pass on fishing
knowledge and advance THE ENTIRE CLUB'S success.
No
member is left behind and help is ALWAYS available before,
after and sometimes even during a fishing event on the
water. Expect to have 3 - 4 seminars available to you
during the year including on the bank and 1/2 day seminars
in a classroom setting. You will catch more fish locally
and anywhere in the Midwest as our tactics are good
for nearly any species. What you learn here will apply
to crappies, walleye, bass, bluegills, carp, perch and
more! There are no more fees during regular season events-
you are entered into as many or as few fishing outings
as you feel like. New anglers are treated like royalty
by us as this is the emphasis of the club. You are welcome
to come fish at any level including brand new beginner
or taking the sport up again after years of not fishing.
They key is newer anglers win 90% of the prizes and
awards. Our top division doesn't win medals or prizes
as of yet- just the regular anglers! You can expect
to meet many new anglers and potential fishing partners
at our events and through our web site.

Expect to catch more fish and importantly- learn what
gear you need to catch more fish. Learn knots, rigs
and tactics that work locally. While our magazine is
not thick- you will find the issues you receive more
valuable than any other fishing publication you have
ever read. Specific points and tips that will produce.
Reviews of matches from earlier in the Month and interesting
articles on the local fishing scene- all species! Expect
6 issues of 8 pages through out the year. In color (email version) or black & white-mailed
to your home or office. Small but packed full!
The Magazine
includes our annual tackle review and the "Shopping
List" a special listing of the best gear from your
local shops, independent tackle dealers and online.
Specific sizes, brands and a priority list that will
help you figure out what to buy first, second and lastly.
Bottom line- you will know what to get and tips on how
to use it to jump start your fishing in the Spring.
We will also feature venues, with maps & details regarding species, depths and directions on how to get there and fish.
We guarantee that you have not seen this information
in ANY fishing show, or have read as comprehensive information
like we publish it. Learn from USA Team angling members
and anglers with a lot of experience, hooking, playing
and landing fish. Your subscription dues go to build
fishing locally and build the sport of bank angling
with new anglers. Education, social outtings and competitions
to build skill sets- that is Angler Magazine- it will
help you catch fish within 5 minutes of your house.
